ITUS Secure Technologies were thrilled to be included in Enterprise Ireland’s Start Up Showcase 2020 held by Enterprise Ireland at Croke Park earlier this week. The Enterprise Ireland Showcase is a gathering of all companies supported by Enterprise Ireland in 2019. The year 2019 saw €24 million invested by Enterprise Ireland in 127 companies including 36 early stage starts ups who received Competitive Start Funding (CSF). ITUS Technologies were one of nine companies who are based in the Northwest orWest of Ireland region, who received investment as part of CSF. At the event, Jenny Melia, Manager of the HPSU division, reaffirmed Enterprise Ireland’s commitment to growing and developing female lead enterprises, with 38 female led start-ups supported in 2019.
CYBRISC – Simplifying Cyber Management
Funding received through the CSF process has enabled ITUS Technologies to develop a software solution we called CYBRISC for the Insurance industry, helping them to quantify cyber risk amongst small and medium businesses. As part of the support received with CSF, ITUS Technologies have recently completed the Innovate programme delivered by Dublin BIC at the Guinness Enterprise Centre, Dublin. The programme which ran over four months involved a series of workshops, seminars and practical elements to ensure companies are investor ready. Other great companies that took part in the Innovate programme included Tympany Medical, Peachy Lean, Avtrain, KO Kombucha, Styl.Wrap, Soothing Solutions, Anewmum, Wedding Wizzard, Squid, Bonafi, MyClinc365 and Pro-Learning Solutions.
Future plans for CYBRISC
Over the next 12 months, ITUS Technologies plan to roll out a series of trials through their current customers and with some key agencies including security software resellers and insurance providers. The company does plan to embark on a Seed round of funding also.
